Canoe Procurement Group of Canada Welcomes Yukon

We are delighted to announce that the Association of Yukon Communities (AYC) and the Canoe Procurement Group of Canada have reached a collaboration agreement which will extend Canoe’s group purchasing programs to include the Yukon.

AYC, a well-known non-profit organization, represents and supports the interests of Yukoners through their steadfast efforts to further the establishment of responsible government at the community level and to provide a united approach to community ambitions. Created in 1974, the association has assisted communities in their endeavour to achieve strong and effective local government, thereby improving the quality of life for all the people of the territory. Their membership may encompass municipalities, local advisory councils, and First Nations.

Through this collaboration agreement, members of AYC may leverage the buying power of over 5,000 Canoe member organizations across Canada to purchase the goods and services they need to serve their communities expeditiously and with efficacy.

At Canoe, we’re proud to be the largest not-for-profit, municipal-focused cooperative purchasing group in the country. Our board, staff, and members take pride in supporting Canadian municipalities from coast to coast to coast, working to strengthen and build this great country.
