Canoe Procurement Group of Canada Welcomes Nunavut

We are excited to announce that the Nunavut Association of Municipalities (NAM) and the Canoe Procurement Group of Canada have formalized a collaboration agreement to expand Canoe’s group buying programs into Nunavut.

The NAM is a non-governmental organization that provides a forum, support, and a unified voice for municipalities across Nunavut. The association was created in 1999, at the same time that the territory of Nunavut was created. The NAM represents 25 municipalities distributed in three regions: the Qikiqtani, Kivalliq, and Kitikmeot.

Through this agreement, NAM members are eligible to leverage Canoe’s programs to procure the goods and services needed to keep their communities running efficiently and economically.

Canoe is the largest municipally-focused cooperative purchasing group in the country. Its board, staff, and members take pride in supporting Canadian municipalities from coast to coast to coast, working to strengthen and build this great country.
